Daniel Vaughan, ACTAR
Accident Reconstructionist, EDR Interpretation, and Human Factors Expert
As an ACTAR accredited reconstructionist and human factors expert, Daniel provides reliable and comprehensive analysis of accidents utilizing the latest technology and scientific research. He also specializes in the extraction and interpretation of crash data from passenger and commercial vehicles.
He is certified in the use of Recon3D for three-dimensional scanning and utilizes Faro Zone 3D Expert to generate scaled drawings and animations that can make the difference in helping a jury visualize the most important aspects of what happens before and during a crash. Daniel also creates photogrammetric analyses using Pix4D.

Leonard Vaughan
Founder (now retired)
As a former Trooper with the Texas Department of Public Safety, Leonard worked on a team that founded the DPS accident reconstruction school that still exists today.
Leonard created Vaughan & Associates in 2004 and worked as an accident reconstruction expert until his retirement in 2026.
